Brass, cast and finished by hand
Brassyra started on Etsy with a simple idea: hardware should be the last thing in a house to wear out. We found the people in Marrakech who still make brass the slow way — casting it solid, engraving and inlaying it by hand, polishing every hook before it leaves the bench — and we built the racks around what they do best.
We design each piece and supervise every stage of production. Nothing is plated, nothing is hollow, and nothing is lacquered. What reaches your wall is heavy, honest metal that will still be doing its job in fifty years.
Because the brass is bare, it changes. It warms and darkens with air and touch, and every rack ends up looking a little different from the day it arrived. That is the point.
